The next hidden spot is a restaurant recommended by local residents of Yeongjongdo. ‘Haesong Ssambap’ serves traditional Korean cuisine in the style of Jeolla Province. ‘Ssambap’ refers to the Korean tradition of wrapping rice with various leafy greens. The signature menu of ‘Haesong Ssambap’ is the ‘Freshwater Snail Ssambap Jungsik’, made with over 20 ingredients including peanuts, ginkgo fruits, walnuts, and of course, freshwater snails. It’s a place where you can experience the perfect harmony of delicious and healthy foods and a fantastic view of Incheon Airport!

Another thing that makes Haesong Ssambap amazing is the bottomless side dishes made with the freshest ingredients of the season, in addition to the leafy greens like lettuce and kale. Prices are: 17,000 won for adults, 7,000 won for children under 13, and free for babies under 36 months. The last hidden spot we want to introduce to you is ‘Yongyu Sky Observatory’! Yongyu Sky Observatory is one of the ‘8 Scenic Tourist Spots of Yongyu’, and it is known as the place where the sunrise and sunset look the most beautiful.

Once you climb up the stairs to reach the observatory deck, you’ll be met with an incredible panoramic view. On one end, you’ll get a view of Incheon Airport with mountain ridges as the backdrop, while at the other end, you’ll be able to enjoy the view of famous landmarks such as Incheon Bridge, Songdo International Business District, and Maedorang Island, shaped like a shark’s fin!

The night view of Yongyu Sky Observatory is also highly recommended for those who want to experience the pinnacle of Incheon’s views!
