Incheon Airport X Louis Vuitton Creates Multi-Cultural Space

One major perk to traveling is the ‘duty-free shopping 🛍’. It’s great that you can buy the things you’ve been eyeing out at a lower, duty-free price. This is why you always find yourself making a stop at the duty-free shops before departure.

The latest news we want to share is that the duty-free strip at Incheon Airport has undergone a transformation 🌟! Incheon Airport teamed up with Louis Vuitton to open a multi-cultural space! Aren’t you curious to know what this space is like? Let us share with you all the details!

Take a Breather Before Your Flight on a Louis Vuitton Cube Bench!

The multi-cultural space created by Incheon Airport and the French luxury brand Louis Vuitton is located in the center of the duty-free zone on the third floor of Passenger Terminal 1. The theme of this cultural space is Paper Planes & Monogram Cubes.

The first thing you’ll notice is the airplane sculpture ✈ hanging from the ceiling. It symbolizes Incheon Airport, re-emerging in the post-COVID-19 era. The streamlined pieces that appear to be taking off are like looking at an airplane in the blue sky.☺

Below are rows of vividly colored 🌈 cubes, each with Louis Vuitton’s signature monogram pattern. The cubes form a bench, allowing passengers to sit and relax on their way to their terminals. Moreover, the cubes are in an open area, available for anyone to use.  They are so beautifully decorated that you may question whether it’s okay to sit on, but rest-assured you are more than welcome to sit and take a breather!

Incheon Airport’s Duty-Free Zone Offers Diverse Experiences

The multi-cultural space was created based on a business agreement signed by Louis Vuitton and Incheon Airport in May to develop a “space for passengers in Terminal 1.” The space will be decorated under a different theme every six months until the end of 2023! Just think about all the future design possibilities! Aren’t you curious what the next concept will be?

Incheon Airport is constantly trying to develop unused areas to create experiential, specialized spaces. For example, all within this year, a landmark sculpture using advanced technology is in the works with the eyewear brand “Gentle Monster” 🕶 and an e-sports gamer lounge 🎮 is being prepared with Riot Games. Be sure to keep a lookout for that and more!

Incheon Airport will continue to work hard to create a duty-free zone that allows passengers to enjoy rich cultural experiences that go beyond just shopping. 👏

What do you think about the news of Incheon Airport X Louis Vuitton’s multi-cultural space opening? You can now enjoy elegant designs for a one-of-a-kind experience while traveling without actually spending money on luxury-brand items. If you have an overseas trip coming up, be sure to visit to experience the space for yourself! 😀
