Yeouido Seoul International Fireworks Festival Returns With a Bang after Three Years
The first place to visit takes place in Seoul. We’re talking about the Seoul International Fireworks Festival🎇! Due to the pandemic, the festival didn’t take place for the past two years, but is now finally returning with a bang! On October 8th, from Mapo Bridge to the Hangang Railroad Bridge, Yeouido Hangang Park will be the backdrop of a spectacular fireworks show.
The Seoul International Fireworks Festival started up in 2000 and is now one of the top three fireworks festivals in Korea, alongside the Pohang Fireworks Festival and the Busan Fireworks Festival. This year, the festival was planned with the countries of Japan and Italy! On top of that, this year’s fireworks festival will be even more special because there will be messages of “comfort” and “support” for the public who may be feeling exhausted from the daily grind during the COVID-19 pandemic. Just thinking about beautiful fireworks lighting up the autumn sky is enough to lift our spirits! 😍
Here are a couple of tips! If you rent a nearby hotel room or get tickets for a cruise ship, you’ll be able to avoid the crowds and comfortably enjoy the festival. Also, if you want to capture some amazing photos, we recommend taking them from the Ichon district opposite of Yeouido on the Han River. Find the spot perfect for you to soak in and enjoy the Seoul International Fireworks Festival! 🎇

There’s also something you must ride when you visit Herb Island. The tractor wagon! You can hop on a tractor wagon with the cool breeze blowing past you as you get to Sky Herb Farm. During the Pink Muhly Festival, you’ll be able to visit the Pink Sky Herb Farm. You’ll feel like you’ve been transported to a fantasy land!
While enjoying the Pink Mully Festival, we also recommend you to try hibiscus ice cream. Like pink muhly, the ice cream is a beautifully pink, sweet treat. Your eyes and tastebuds will thank you. If you have a special someone, we definitely recommend visiting this festival as it’s perfect for couples 💑!
